..Colorin dress..

This pattern dress is already nice without color, but looks also great in your own chosen colors.

The dress is a result of a collaboration between a graphic designer, Michiel Schuurman, and a fashion designer, Berber Soepboer, the Color-In Dress is a DIY that can be hand-colored using markers.
If you also like the dress can be ordered through the website of Berber Soepboer.

..Orla Kiely House..

I am a sucker for Orla kiely design. Their new house collection has great fifties feel to it.
Not for sale still but can me admired at Orla Kiely.com

..Le petit chaperon rouge..

I have been wanting to share children books with you that are different. I will try to post some more regularly.
My son Roman loves the reading the Red riding hood in this symbol book by Warja Lavater, edition Maeght 1965. It is immensely long (4 meters) and folds into a very small accordion book. All characters are symbolised by patterns and colours. So the big black spot is the wolf and it has grandma (blue) inside.

There are several fairytales by Warja Lavater in this symbolized way, it is very special and I like it because it helps to create imagination.

.. Printmania ..

Printsuit in gold pattern by Prada
Printbuilding in gold concrete at La Confluence Lyon by ECDM architects

..On a blogbreak and I am taking with me..

A flower necklace by H&M

Book 'The man without disease' by Arnon Grunberg
About a naive Swiss architect who wants to build in Irak.
"de kracht van de architect is talent minus naïviteit, k=t-n"
The power of the architect is talent minus naivety, p=t-n". That must be a good read.

..LONDON Bright and Shining..

It seems LONDON was all about bright colours and patterns.

Highlights: Views of windmills at the Northsea, Cosmopolitans at Tom’s Kitchen, The V and A British Design exhibition, Kate Spade shop, Orla Kiely ( where I got a very nice bag on sale) Paintings by Yayoi Kusuma were impressive, more impressive then the Damien Hirst exhibition in the TATE modern, La fille mal gardee ballet at the Royal Opera House, with their lovely costumes, laughkicks with Eli and my mother and last but not least my dear friends Tanya and Phil with their incredible hospitality.
